Italian PV pioneer CCEN joins international CCE as CCE Italy Holding on the best financial conditions for the expansion of PV projects and investments in the field of green hydrogen.
The Italian photovoltaic specialist CCEN, based in Jesi Ancona, has been very successfully driving the expansion of rene-wable energies in Italy since 2017. The company, which was founded in 2017 as a joint venture between Austrian Clean Capital Energy and German enernovum, currently has open-space PV systems with over 2 gigawatts in the concrete plan-ning or construction phase. Italy, with its agricultural infrastructure in many places, offers very favorable location options for ground-mounted PV systems. One of the company’s unique selling points is that it operates largely nature-adapted systems that feed the generated solar power into the national power grid.
