Battery energy storage systems (BESS) play a central role in stabilising grid capacities. They relieve the power grid by storing surplus electricity and releasing it when needed. CCE invests in state-of-the-art BESS technologies consisting of battery modules, power converters and control systems.
Battery storage systems reduce the cost of peak loads and enable communities and businesses to operate independent power grids and provide backup power. With their dynamic controllability and grid-forming inverters, battery storage systems will become indispensable for grid stabilisation in the future.
