Vienna/Arad, October 1, 2025. With the granting of the energy license by ANRE (National Energy Regulatory Authority), the photovoltaic park Horia 1 in the Vladimirescu commune (Arad County) completed the final step towards full commercial operation.

The plant has an installed capacity of 40 MWp, covers an area of 60 hectares, and is equipped with around 75,000 modules. The Horia 1 photovoltaic park makes an important contribution to strengthening renewable energies in Romania and highlights the successful implementation of a key project in CCE's growing portfolio in Romania.

Alexandru Matei Fatu, Managing Director of CCE-Romania, is pleased: "I am deeply grateful to the entire CCE team, our partners, the authorities of Arad County, and the Ministry of Energy for their support and cooperation that made this possible. Horia 1 is not only a project we are proud of, but also a symbol of responsibility and our commitment to a sustainable energy future."
