Marknesse / Vienna, May 20, 2025. CCE The Netherlands announces the successful grid connection of its solar project in Marknesse (Flevoland Province). The company is a subsidiary of the international energy transition company CCE Holding based in Vienna. With a capacity of 23.3 megawatts, the project is an important milestone in CCE's strategic development towards becoming an Independent Power Producer (IPP).

Clean energy for many households, long-term PPA

The Solar Park Marknesse will annually produce green electricity for around 7,850 households. The east-west orientation of the solar modules maximizes the design's land use and ensures optimal energy generation throughout the day. The installation comprises a total of 37,632 solar modules on an area of approximately 14 hectares.

For the sale of the generated electricity, CCE The Netherlands has concluded a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Scholt Energy B.V., ensuring stable and sustainable purchase of the clean electricity produced.

"This PPA with Scholt Energy is another milestone in the active commercialization of our electricity generation from renewable sources. Our collaboration demonstrates how industrial partnerships can contribute to stabilizing energy prices and enabling the reliable integration of green electricity into supply chains," say Martin Dürnberger and Jörg Menyesch, Co-CEOs of CCE Holding.
