With the latest legislative decree on agriculture and its impact on photovoltaics and agri-PV, the long-awaited decree on PV-suitable areas, the draft of the new unitary text on renewable energies, and the upcoming new FER X decree to promote renewable energy generation, the photovoltaic sector in Italy has entered a period of dramatic regulatory changes. At the same time, the European and national goals for the energy transition, as well as the uncertainties in the energy markets and the high prices of natural gas and electricity, make the scenario even more challenging.
